Bitsrips Stephen Osmond

It is hard to believe I started Chemo one year ago on Halloween 2011! I tried to celebrate the occasion thinking about the accomplishment of completing a year of treatment and the good times I was able to have throughout the year. I tried not to think much about the struggles experienced over the year and the ones yet to come but they do rattle around in my mind occasionally, I try to dismiss these thoughts quickly as they only bring me down.

As always over the last 2 months I have had some bad times and good times, so I will give you a quick update. Delaney has been creating cartoons at school using Bitstrips and she keeps asking me to create a cartoon so I thought for fun I would create one highlighting the last couple months events. For the next year I will have chemo treatments every Wednesday as well as daily chemo pills at home, the volumes are about the same minus one drug all together so I am hoping to feel better and be more active, although every three weeks the steroids still causes me MANY side effects which bring me down for 5-6 days.

Generally life is going well at them moment and I appreciate each of you sharing this experience with me and for your continued prayer, support and encouragement. Thank you!
