Recently I had several weeks of issues that kept me in bed continually, most of them were caused by the antibiotics I was on. They have since stopped the prophylactic antibiotics and are going to give me a monthly dose directly through a ventilator instead, this should not have any side effects like the oral antibiotics. I also had issues with a very low hemoglobin which caused me to be very weak and all other side effects tobe amplified. I appear to be over all that and back on track to feeling “my normal”.
There has been some discussion regarding my comment about completing chemo, sorry I was only referring to completing chemo that day. I still have to get chemo every Wednesday until mid-august, then things will change up a bit, less chemo and a few different drugs and hopefully changing to chemo every three weeks. This last phase called “maintenance” will last until Nov 2013.
