Today went well, pretty much what I expected. The Doctor is great, a bit quirky and very nice.

The biopsy results are inconclusive, the test they could run excluded Thymoma and showed some primitive Tcell blast which he feels is Tcell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, but this is not enough to start treatment. He did not want to start treatment without confirmation of the type (I agree).

They did a bone marrow aspirate on me today (ouch) and if the T-ALL shows up in the marrow they can start treatment right away, if it does not show up in the marrow I will need to go back to the thoracic surgeon and get another biopsy, possibly a different type done with a scope to try and get more tissue for more testing.

So… I was pretty happy not to get really bad news today, but looks like more waiting. The bone marrow results should be in tomorrow and they are going to call me tomorrow or the next day.

The doctor understands I have been waiting a long time and was sympathetic, he prescribed me morphine for the bad pain days, hopefully I will not need it very often.

Thank you for your prayers today,
