First let me give you more background behind the group title “Off-Roading”. I often wish and pray for life to be easy and predictable, with smooth roads for miles ahead. Time and time again I have seen God taking the wheel, He likes to go off-road! He challenges me with twist and curves and allows seemingly impossible obstacles to cross my path. I rarely understand this off-road adventure and have no ability to navigate it on my own, by His grace I persevere.
We survived the first week of Lisa working full time and both kids in school, thank you so much for your prayers. Today the kids were not too excited about school and when the bus came Davin started running toward the house, normally I can catch him… haha, not this time. After a few minutes at home he calmed down and I was able to drive him to school. Please continue to pray for Davin and Delaney that they would enjoy school, and bus time would be anxiety free.
Lately I have been very tired and sleepy, but as this week progressed I felt less chest pain, and more energy, I attribute this to “your prayers”, thank you. I was able to spend more time with family and get some work done at the office. Lisa and I are looking forward to spending the weekend at the trailer relaxing and spending time together as a family.
Many of you have been asking how you can help us, over the last three years of Delaney’s treatment we have been humbled by your support and encouragement, it has become easier for us to accept help and to ask for it when we need it. At this point, I am asking you to please pray for the requests posted in the document “Prayer Requests” on the right column of the group. Each day as we face a new twist or obstacle there will be times when I will reach out, thank you for being there.
P.S. This group is a “closed group” not a “secret group” because I wanted to give each of you the opportunity to Opt-in rather than adding you all, please feel free to share this group with my friends and family.
